Incendin NV (‘Incendin’), a European leader in life saving chemistry, is proud to announce the acquisition of ProPHOS S.r.l. (‘Prophos’), market leader in fire-fighting agents and flame retardants in Italy.
Through this acquisition, Incendin is strengthening its position in both fire-fighting agents and flame retardants for the wood panel industry, both in Italy as well as in key markets in Europe.
Founded in 2011, the company employs 25 people in its San Giovanni in Croce plant, located in the Cremona region of Northern Italy. This acquisition is an important step in delivering on Incendin’s strategy by further strengthening its core position in Europe.

In this transaction, Incendin has been supported by PedersoliGattai regarding its legal aspects and by Deloitte for its financial aspects. The financial details of this agreement will not be disclosed.
