Flame Retardant solutions for MDF and HDF Panels

Excellent fire-retardant formula

Our specialized fire-retardant formula is specifically designed for MDF (Medium Density Fiberboard) and HDF (High Density Fiberboard) wood based panels. The product is a stable dispersion composed of a series of toxic-free substances that reinforce each other and result in an important number of advantages.

Besides superior fire-retardant properties, this formula strongly reduces smoke emissions. Thanks to our smart engineering, this product also features limited interaction with the adhesives used, resulting in adhesive savings and very good mechanical properties of the finished panels.  This flame retardant is a spectacular VOC catcher, and will contribute substantially to, for example, better formaldehyde emission values of the panel.

Finally, our solution ensures excellent compatibility with finishing processes including painting, laminating and veneering. This flame retardant does not adversely affect the adhesion, appearance or performance of surface finishes applied to the boards.

Key Features:

  • Toxic-free and biodegradable
  • No Substances of Very High Concern
  • Very robust flame retardant performance
  • Low smoke emission
